Travel & Safety Policy

Feel Zurich is committed to providing Experiences in a manner that takes reasonable account of the safety, participation requirements and circumstances of its guests. This Travel & Safety Policy sets out the responsibilities of guests and the measures that may apply before and during an Experience.

Guests should review this Policy before participating in an Experience and should inform Feel Zurich in advance of any circumstance or requirement that may materially affect their ability to participate safely.

This Policy forms part of the contractual framework applicable to Feel Zurich Experiences and should be read together with the General Terms & Conditions, Cancellation, Changes & Refund Policy and Accessibility Statement.

Scope

IN THIS POLICY

01. SCOPE

This Policy applies to tours, excursions, transfers and other experiences provided or arranged by Feel Zurich (“Experiences”).

The specific conditions applicable to an Experience may vary depending on its itinerary, location, duration, means of transportation, physical requirements, activities involved and third-party services included.

Where specific safety, participation or operational requirements are communicated in a booking confirmation, written offer or other booking documentation, those requirements shall apply to the relevant Experience.

This Policy does not replace the terms of the General Terms & Conditions, Cancellation, Changes & Refund Policy or any booking-specific conditions.

PREPARATION

02.PREPARATION & PARTICIPATION

Guests are responsible for arriving at the agreed meeting point at the time specified in the booking confirmation and for allowing sufficient time to reach the meeting point.

Guests are responsible for bringing any documents, medication, equipment or other items that they reasonably require for their participation.

Guests should consider the nature and physical requirements of the selected Experience before booking.

Depending on the Experience, participation may involve walking, standing, stairs, uneven surfaces, cobblestones, slopes, changes in elevation, public transportation, boats, mountain transportation or other physical conditions.

Information concerning known participation requirements will be provided where reasonably relevant to the Experience.

A guest who is unable or unwilling to comply with a reasonable safety instruction may be refused participation or may be required to leave the Experience where this is reasonably necessary to protect the guest, the guide, other participants or third parties.

Any consequences for cancellation, non-participation or early termination are governed by the Cancellation, Changes & Refund Policy.

03. HEALTH AND PERSONAL REQUIREMENTS

Guests are responsible for determining whether they are fit to participate in the selected Experience

.

Guests should inform Feel Zurich before booking, or as soon as reasonably possible thereafter, of any health, mobility or other personal requirement that may materially affect safe participation or require a reasonable operational adjustment.

Feel Zurich may request information that is reasonably necessary to assess whether an Experience can safely accommodate a stated requirement.

Guests are not required to provide a medical diagnosis or other personal health information beyond what is reasonably necessary for the relevant arrangement.

Feel Zurich does not provide medical advice, diagnosis or treatment.

Where an Experience involves physical activity, altitude, prolonged walking, heat, cold, water, uneven terrain or other particular conditions, guests are responsible for considering whether the Experience is appropriate for their individual circumstances and, where appropriate, obtaining advice from a qualified healthcare professional.

If a guest becomes unwell or is unable to continue safely during an Experience, the guest must inform the guide as soon as reasonably possible.

Feel Zurich may modify, interrupt or terminate an Experience where reasonably necessary because of a guest's condition or circumstances, particularly where continuing would create a material safety risk.

HEALTH

04. ACCESSIBILITY AND ASSISTANCE

Feel Zurich welcomes guests with different mobility, sensory, communication and other access requirements.

Guests are encouraged to communicate essential accessibility requirements before booking so that Feel Zurich can determine whether the requested Experience can reasonably be adapted.

Possible adaptations may include, where practicable:

  • adjustments to the pace or route;

  • alternative meeting points;

  • additional rest opportunities;

  • adjustments to transportation arrangements; or

  • other reasonable operational adaptations.

The availability of an adaptation depends on the particular Experience, location, terrain, transportation, weather, safety considerations and facilities operated by third parties.

An adapted Experience may therefore differ from the standard itinerary.

Feel Zurich does not guarantee that every Experience, venue, route, vehicle or third-party service is fully accessible.

Further information is provided in the Accessibility Statement.

ACCESIBILITU

05. CONDUCT AND SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Guests must behave in a manner that does not create an unreasonable risk to themselves, the guide, other participants, third-party service providers or members of the public.

Guests must comply with reasonable instructions given by Feel Zurich, its guides, drivers or relevant third-party service providers where those instructions concern safety, access, transportation, participation or the operation of the Experience.

Feel Zurich may refuse or terminate participation where a guest:

  • engages in threatening, violent, abusive or seriously disruptive conduct;

  • materially interferes with the safety or operation of the Experience;

  • refuses to comply with reasonable safety instructions;

  • appears to be unable to participate safely; or

  • engages in conduct that is unlawful or creates a material risk to another person or property.

Where participation is refused or terminated for reasons attributable to the guest, no refund shall be due except where otherwise required by applicable law or expressly provided under the applicable booking terms.

Nothing in this Section limits any rights or obligations arising under applicable Swiss law.

CONDUCT

06. WEATHER AND ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS

Experiences may take place in varying weather and environmental conditions.

Ordinary seasonal conditions, including rain, snow, heat or cold, do not automatically prevent an Experience from proceeding.

Guests should dress appropriately and bring any personal equipment reasonably required for the expected conditions.

Where weather or environmental conditions make the planned Experience unsafe, unlawful or materially impracticable, Feel Zurich may modify the itinerary, route, meeting point, transportation arrangements or timing.

Where reasonably possible, Feel Zurich may offer an alternative or reschedule the affected Experience.

Where an Experience must be cancelled by Feel Zurich because it cannot safely or lawfully be provided and no reasonable alternative is available, the applicable refund shall be determined in accordance with the Cancellation, Changes & Refund Policy.

WHEATHER

07. TRANSPORTATION AND THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

An Experience may include or depend on transportation or services provided by independent third parties, including public transport operators, private drivers, boats, cable cars, museums, restaurants, attractions or other service providers.

Such services may be subject to the third party's own operational, safety, participation and cancellation conditions.

Feel Zurich may modify transportation arrangements or substitute a service provider where reasonably necessary to provide the Experience.

Where a third-party service becomes unavailable, delayed or materially altered, Feel Zurich will make reasonable efforts to provide an appropriate alternative where practicable.

Guests are responsible for complying with the rules and safety instructions of third-party service providers while using their services.

Where a third-party service is separately identified in a booking, its applicable conditions may also apply.

The treatment of third-party costs following a cancellation or service disruption is governed by the Cancellation, Changes & Refund Policy and the applicable supplier terms.

08. CHILDREN AND MINORS

Where an Experience permits children or minors to participate, the applicable minimum age and any other participation requirements will be communicated before booking where reasonably relevant.

A parent, legal guardian or responsible accompanying adult remains responsible for the supervision of a minor unless Feel Zurich has expressly agreed otherwise in writing.

Feel Zurich does not assume parental or guardianship responsibilities for minors participating in an Experience.

Parents, guardians and accompanying adults must ensure that minors comply with applicable safety instructions and participation requirements.

Feel Zurich may refuse participation where a minor does not meet the applicable age, supervision or safety requirements.

09. FOOD ALLERGIES AND DIETARY REQUIREMENTS

Guests must inform Feel Zurich before booking of any food allergy, intolerance or dietary requirement that may materially affect a planned dining, tasting or food-related Experience.

Feel Zurich will communicate relevant requirements to restaurants, guides or other service providers where reasonably necessary to organise the requested Experience.

However, food preparation and allergen controls are ultimately subject to the practices and facilities of the relevant food provider.

Feel Zurich cannot guarantee the absence of allergens or cross-contamination unless a specific written arrangement has been expressly confirmed.

Guests with severe or potentially life-threatening allergies remain responsible for taking appropriate personal precautions and carrying any medication or emergency equipment they require.

10. EMERGENCIES AND INCIDENTS

In the event of an emergency, guests must follow reasonable instructions given by the guide or relevant service provider and, where appropriate, contact the competent emergency services.

Feel Zurich may contact emergency services or provide relevant information to emergency personnel where reasonably necessary to protect a guest or another person.

Feel Zurich may modify, interrupt or terminate an Experience following an accident, medical incident, safety event or other emergency.

Where an incident results from circumstances outside Feel Zurich's reasonable control, any resulting cancellation, modification or refund shall be handled in accordance with the applicable contractual terms and Swiss law.

Guests are responsible for ensuring that they have appropriate personal insurance for medical treatment, accidents, cancellation, personal belongings and other risks relevant to their circumstances.

Feel Zurich does not provide medical, legal, rescue or insurance services.

Emergencies

11. PERSONAL BELONGINGS

Guests remain responsible for their personal belongings during an Experience.

Guests should not leave valuable items unattended and should take reasonable precautions to protect passports, money, electronic devices, medication and other personal property.

Feel Zurich is not responsible for the loss, theft or damage of personal belongings except to the extent that such responsibility arises under applicable law.

Where a guest believes that an item has been lost during an Experience, the guest should notify Feel Zurich as soon as reasonably possible so that reasonable assistance can be provided in attempting to locate it.
